When Judith and her boyfriend Raúl visit a swingers' club, she finds out more about her family -- and about herself -- than she bargained for.

Ana and Yves loved each other passionately, then parted ways. Years later, their daughter Cécile made a documentary about their meeting. They meet again. Still scarred by their past love, they set out to find a way back to each other.

Un matin de novembre 1975, une jeune femme, Ana, rentre chez elle, les joues en feu d’avoir dansé toute la nuit. Une petite fille assiste à la séparation depuis l’obscurité du couloir… Au printemps 1991, Cécile, la petite fille du couloir, a maintenant 25 ans ; elle est étudiante dans une école de cinéma et doit réaliser un exercice sur le thème : Filmer vos parents. Cécile les filme séparément et les questionne sur ce qui pour elle est de l’ordre de la légende : leur rencontre. Dans les souvenirs d’Ana et de Yves rien ne coïncide, et pourtant tout coïncide. Évoquer ces instants les remet en contact avec la force du sentiment.

The ever-present parade of prostitution, drug dealing and murder is choking the life out of a world-weary, middle-aged Paris cop (Le Flic), who has seen too much and done too little to clean up his precinct of the criminal vermin that now torment him. After 25 years as a plain-clothes vice detective, his own life begins to existentially wear out its welcome. His main informant (Remy le Rat) works for a local drug-lord (Le Turc) who supplies drugs to the neighborhood prostitutes, who all work for a mysterious madam and nightclub owner known as La Contesse. Le Flic is desperately trying to arrest, convict and lock-up the elusive Le Turc, if only to redeem his own futile, unfulfilled life. Between Remy's web of lies and Le Flic's own jealousy of Le Turc's lifestyle, we are able to peer through the cracks of this tormented cop's sick psyche and glimpse his personal philosophy of fractured fatalism.
